First order
New customers can receive from 3% to 10% off on the first order, calculated by translation volume. When you ask your JAPANtranslation account rep for an estimate, be sure to mention the "Translation Service Trial Campaign."
Ongoing orders
For starters, we'll waive the minimum charge ($300) on each job. Also, such orders usually come with further discounts depending on the content, frequency, time to delivery, and translation budget.
Volume orders
It's natural to worry about budget when you need to have something large translated, such as a users' manual for software or products. But have no fear. Our volume discount will probably apply in such cases. It can amount to a sizeable reduction in cost.
And, using translation memory on large documents, such as manuals that contain many repeated phrasings, we're able to speed up the process while maintaining a consistent level of quality.
Glossaries and past translations
Clients who are able to provide us with past translations receive discounts. It shortens our research time and saves us from having to translate sentences and phrases that have already been translated. In most cases this reduces the number of questions our staff need to ask you, thus it saves your time as well.
There are many cases where this discount can apply. There have been cases we were able to reduce cost and time to delivery by 65% on orders of more than 1,000 pages by building glossaries from past translations and leveraging translation memory software.
Please always let your JAPANtranslation account rep know about specially matched terminology used in your documents. It can save both time and money, and it improves the consistency of your documents.
